About Laura Beach

Writer, editor and author Laura Beach explores the intersection of art and history, chronicling the ways creative people shape their visual worlds. A frequent contributor to Antiques and The Arts Weekly and The Magazine Antiques, her work has also appeared in the New York Times, Architectural Digest, Art + Auction, Antiques Trade Gazette, Country Home, Departures and other publications. A winner of the Antiques Dealers Association of America (ADA)’s Award of Merit and the Wunsch Award for Outstanding Contribution to the American Arts, she is a member of the Board of Governors of the Decorative Arts Trust and the Board of Advisors of The Magazine Antiques. Author of The Art of Stephen Huneck (Abrams) and ‘Til Death Do Us Part: Eighteenth Century New England Gravestones: Design Sources of Eighteenth Century New England Gravestones (Yale University Art Gallery), she lives in Connecticut and Prince Edward Island.
